"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18).
Upon arriving home from school (roughly 10 minutes ago) I saw that my parents had on CNN and a live broadcast of a man named James Jay Lee.

Lee entered the headquarters of the Discovery Channel early Wednesday afternoon with what is believed to be at least one gun and tanks strapped to his back. He is holding at least one hostage as of 3:30 p.m. EST and there may be more.

And so why would me, an anything but average girl from Texas be posting this??? James 5:16b says "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."

So now i urge you:

People all over the world, let's lift up this situation to the Lord Jesus, who is mighty to save. Pray for Maryland that the citizens find peace in this hour. Pray for the protection of the unknown number of hostages. And most importantly, pray that God's glory be shown through all of this.

Now what?
I'm asking that every blogger who comes across this page, create a post in prayer for the Discovery Channel HQ. Anyone with a facebook create a note, or change their status to a prayer. Tag a tweeted prayer.
Why??
So the prayer continues, and so those who haven't hear may hear, that we place this situation in Gods hands.
